The feasibility study gets the Go-Ahead
Now public are the Italian Production Ministry´s ratings of the projects applying for government funding for feasibility studies creating Italian districts in foreign countries, and this ratings publication was greeted with great satisfaction by the techno-stone sector since the study presented by Assomarmomacchine together with several member companies came in sixth in the general ranking and thus became one of the fourteen - out of the more than 400 presented - that the Ministry deemed worthy of financing.
This was certainly proof of a job well done but also a great opportunity for the entire techno-stone sector since it is the first concrete step towards what could become a real Italian stone city abroad. In fact, it should be specified that the project regards not just stone technology purveyors but also the producers and processors of natural stone, from raw to finished standard or special product. So this means the presence of the whole production chain in the feasibility study that Assomarmomacchine will be developing together with the companies that had declared their willingness to sooperate at the time the bid for funds was made.
And this feasibility study goes hand in hand with another great Assomarmomacchine undertaking in China: creation of a deposit for Italian materials that is located in Fang Shan, in the greater Beijing metropolitan area and went into operation some months ago.
